ANCHO HAS BECOME ONE OF THE BAND OF ORGANISATIONS THAT HAVE ACHIEVED THE HIGHLY REGARDED INVESTORS IN PEOPLE STATUS.

24th March 2006 -- The Investors in People (IiP) standard provides a framework for improving the performance of business through the development of its workforce.

The staff at ANCHO worked towards the standard with assistance from Scottish Enterprise Ayrshire, who provided an expert Advisor for the business.  “Our advisor was very supportive and helped us implement the actions that had been agreed within our Diagnostic report.  We have seen real benefits since we started working towards IiP,” said Elaine Gibson.

The team proudly accepted their plaque at their office in Sovereign House.  “It’s not just about getting the ‘badge’,” said Elaine, “the processes we have help us to make sure that every member of staff is valued in terms of what they can offer to the business and what we can offer them.  It certainly makes for a more successful recipe.”
